I think Women fall into three categories: the naughty, beauty, and sweety types. Im not an authority on the subject matter of women nor a male chauvinist but presently I have to make a choice from these three.
Im just like your average joe that you might find anywhere. A well paying job, average looks, 3 years after college, lil financially independent and the next important question of relationships, girl friends, marriage, settling down in life.
The Naughty: For her life is a big party. Pubs, disco's, late night outs are a must. Booze alcohol, "a joint" perhaps?, They like to live on the edge. The wild, adventurous, easy going and take light types with so much rebellious nature against the society and norms.
I have not seen a women who abuses, uses or over uses the F-word so much like her. Being a man I feel lil awkward to discuss few things especially to the other gender but in her presence there are no "bars" to subjects like lesbians, orgasms, and all the stuff that a girl should be talking to another girl.
Whats more disgusting is the guys attitude towards her: "De degi" types. Some call her sl*t, lil wh*re. I never bothered to understand if she was right or neither did I try to correct her. Its her life so she will live with it and its consequences.
But when it comes to me it definitely is not matching my frequency so :REJECTED!
Beauty: She is the very epitome of beauty and looks. The princess who would get burnt when she tries to walk the distance between the restaurant and the parking place in day time. She is so soft and tender that they have to be handled with care as they are gentle and fragile souls. The greatest of their achievements is that they are born beautiful. And every girl seems to be fascinated with this word and call them that and you have won their attention. Some lesser mortals just try to get into that bracket by all possible means.
For them they are always chased by men. Its very hard for any man perhaps not to fall for such a girl . and in the corporate world it seems that they have to have such a girl as show pieces, face and looks of the company. Marketing and presales manager is the job description. I wonder if being beautiful is the only qualification that this girl has got. Leaving apart the communication skills.
They are an expensive assets to maintain but keeping them happy is one of the most difficult jobs in the word.They are fussy and they are messy!
"He looks very very handsome. 6 feet tall and well built body". That was the first description of her ex-boyfriend. She sounded like it was the only thing that mattered. She sounded like she has some 100 men proposing each day but she is looking for her soulmate and she found. that in this 6 feet tall, well built, handsome man. As I expected this guy had deep pockets and with some good business and political connections. He was a passionate "speedster";loved cars and bikes NOT as much as the girl. Then came the twist that the guy had to go to Nigera to handle the family oil drilling business. Her sources said that he met a french women in Nigera and he perhaps was going after her as there was no one to check on him.
She loved going to good restaurants and try new food. And over dinner, or lunch many times with wine she used to tell me about the surprises that the guy gave and the wonderful 2 years they nurtured the relationship.
I just imagined my life with her : very demanding: the soft way, high on maintenance and very fragile soul. I wondered if i could be ever happy keeping up with her expectations.
She actually was expecting somebody who was very intelligent, witty, caring, sensitive and who made her laugh. But her boy friend of hers never really seemed to come anywhere close to that. All I could think was that the guy had to work really hard "to keep up with her expectations:surprises, gifts, dates, roses and diamond ring. That guy drives an Audi and I have a swift and a maruthi 800 back home.
The cutie: Her traits include: patience, adaptability and is a good listener, no non sense and sensible. But they are so rigid and dumb folks that what they care is about their feelings. They live a double life as in the limited
Every girl wants to date a hunk. The tall, dark and handsome types. The most popular guy. Even its the same with guys. The "hottest chick" in the college/work place/ friends group.They perhaps want to show it up as a trophy that was won in an competition. And may be thats an identity crisis that that being in a relationship is a must else you are a loser. I wonder how many of these translate into successful marriages. Before this the relationships pass through number of things that these guys understand each other perfectly. Each perhaps are of the same frequency but again complementary in many aspects. One should complete the other. I envisaged three scenarios:
1. I would be having a joint on my first night. REJECT.
2. I would be appeasing the princess because she is to be treated like her and will not adjust to the situations.
3. A sensible girl who would strive to be a good wife, daughter in law. and perhaps a good mother especially to a girl.
My dad is a bad son, an average husband but the best dad in the whole wide world. He has his own flaws but he made it! From the impoverished, unstable, emotionally charged streets of Oldcity to a better looking "decent" colony we came a long way. He always put his children first and.
I really wonder ho many of the couples think or the many who claim to be in relationship have a successful marriage. Whjt really irritates me or pisses me off is the word break up or moved over. Nothing of that was ever heard in my family. My granny even at this age cries and serves my grand dad when he is hurt or falls sick.
In this age of i-pods, i-pads and i-pills there is a faint hope of meeting ones soul mate. In the age of fast foods and fast relationships there is faint hope for a successful relations.
Back home : I come for a "orthodox-caste-Hindu" family. A very simple family. The ladies dont talk much. The men take all things as their responsibility and are successful in their own way. The ladies dont talk much doesnt mean that they are not allowed to open their mouths but they are never given a chance to complain.
